Police/Fire Update: Captain Anthony Butler
Captain Butler updated the group on the happenings going on with LPD in North Lincoln. Updates include number of thefts and burglaries. Captain Butler gave the group an example of how one officer apprehended a suspect that may eventually clear off 12 burglaries. On June 13th, there was a new recruit graduation with 21 new recruits. Pop with a Cop is coming up on August 8th at the Belmont Rec Center.

Echo Bell, Bell Solutions
Echo spoke to the group about small business challenges and how to overcome them. Bell Solutions servers as CFOs for hire. Beyond the accounting role, the CFO role includes growing the business and its profitability. Overcoming challenge number one is understanding the numbers. Structure the business bookkeeping in a manner that allows you to interpret the information accurately. Challenge number two is understanding your profitability. Understand all your margins and how the company makes money. Challenge number three is understanding your cash flow. Understand the ins and outs of your billing process both accounts payable and receivable. Challenge number four is implementing good processes and good leadership to retain top talent.
