Treasurer’s Report:
Board Treasurer, Tim Kirkpatrick provide the group an update on the group’s finances. ~$3522.63 in Checking; $3000.00 in CDs
Community Update: Captain Butler, LPD
Captain Butler gave the group an update on what’s happening for the Police department in North Lincoln. Captain Butler gave a year over year comparison on North Lincoln activity. The overall trends are going down form 2018. The LPD has an increased focus on outreach to the community to continue the downward trend of crime activity.
Other Communication
Sydney Stanard, NLBA President, announced that the board voted to award the NLBA grant to Food Fort of Lincoln. Thank you to our membership for all the nominations. Micheala from the Food Fort will be at the June members meeting to give the group an overview of all that they do to help the Lincoln Community

Kelly Wavada – Ag Tac Services
Kelly presented to the NLBA members what to do during an active shooter situation. Using the FEMA IS-907 framework Kelly explained that there are three choices in an active shooter situation. A person can either run, hide or fight. The average active shooter event takes five minutes and end in the shooters initiative. Kelly broke down each of the choices of run, hide and fight and what each one means.
