For February 2018, Sherri took a poll to see if the group would rather go bowling or to a hockey game.
Treasurer’s Report:
$1973.15 ($1892.55 after an outstanding bill to be paid) in checking and $3000 in CD’s
Police/Fire Update: Captain Butler
Captain Butler gave the group an update on crimes that have occurred on the north side of Lincoln. He also reminded the group to keep valuable out of site inside your vehicle. This time of year there are several thefts of vehicles. If you go on vacation, try to keep it lo-key until you return. Husker games are wrapping up. Been to several parties but overall lower MIP tickets than last year.

Featured Speaker
Laurie Klosterboer – Director of Nebraska Safety Council and Lisa Henning, Director of Workwell Safety and Wellness.
Laurie and Lisa gave a presentation on why a business should have a wellness program and gave information about the Nebraska Safety Council. No matter the size or industry, the NSC helps companies with their health and safety programs. All businesses can be impacted by productivity lose and increase in premiums due to safety and health issues. Laurie and Lisa gave the group a riveting business case as to why a wellness program is so important.
