Featured Speaker
Jared Froehlich, NAIFM Realty
Jared spoke to the group on a number of commercial Real Estate issues and considerations. Jared is one of only 25 licensed commercial brokers in Lincoln. He hit on two main topics: Leasing vs. Buying commercial property and owning an investment property. When it comes to leasing vs buying one of the main considerations is the amount of capital you have to outlay to get into a piece of property. Leasing has a smaller upfront cost but with buying the property will typically appreciate in value. When considering an investment commercial property, know that when putting a purchase order in to buy, you don’t have to be locked into sale. There is a due diligence period in which the buyer can cancel the deal if necessary. Jared then fielded a few questions from those present.
